History

During his childhood years, Marc Lamberts (CEO) grew up in the world of pool installers and accompanied his father to many swimming pool building sites and professional fairs. By sharing experience with distributors and installers, he quickly realized that existing pool products did not meet their professional needs. With an engineering degree in his pocket and exciting new ideas, this visionary set up his own business. Propulsion Systems was founded in 2002 and became a pioneer of the development of revolutionary and ecological LED lighting for swimming pools. Shortly afterwards, the product range was expanded with a new generation of heat pumps. At present, this Belgian company with its own production facility in China employs over 60 people. Their well-being is being looked after by Ariëtte, Marc Lamberts’ wife, who manages all HR matters. Today House of DURATECH offers an impressive range of sustainable and top-of-the-range products based on the latest technologies.
